The White Household is using new precautions to protect against the virus from spreading to President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, according to a statement from Deputy Push Secretary Judd Deere.
“Out of an abundance of caution, temperature checks are now currently being executed on any persons who are in close call with the President and Vice President,” Deere said.
The temperature checks are also becoming supplied to associates of the push. A member of the White Household health and fitness workforce took the temperatures of reporters gathered for a briefing with Pence on Saturday, and one member of the push was turned away due to the fact his temperature was also high.
Trump said Friday that he will not be having precautionary measures even with having near contact at Mar-a-Lago with a Brazilian formal who has analyzed favourable for the virus. He said Saturday that he took a test and that the benefits are pending. He does not know when the results will be ready.
The president said he is presently not going through signs or symptoms from the virus and has been consulting with White Property health professionals.
